We told him we were paranormal investigators, and he enjoyed that, enjoyed telling him our stories, and freaking him out. Over all an amazing, comfortable, homey, place! Will definitely be back.
I never been to a bnb, and I am glad we went to the Walker Inn, perfect breakfast, amazing room, and fantastic people who run it. Only problem is I didn't get Michael's steam name so I could game with him..I was pretty depressed about that.

I was having problems finding a bnb for my wife and I, after our wedding on the 23rd of September. By chance I called the Walker Inn and probably one of the nicest and can't express it enough the coolest person you will ever talk to, Michael. He told me they had a room available from the 23rd to the 25th. All I can say is he is a life saver.
Great stay. Will be back when thru area again. Big library room, nice TV room and beautiful old home.
As for the staff I got to speak with, the innkeeper Michael, never let Michael go anywhere. His hospitality, his enthusiasm, his care for his visitors was too notch! Very welcoming person!
Arriving to the Inn, Michael greeted my wife and I when we pulled in and helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the place. We felt at home as soon as we finished the tour.
Was also cool to learn that the "living room" where the tv is at was a doctors examining room in the 1890s! Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!!
My very first B&B. Walked in everything looked amazing, everything had a spot. Smelled amazing! Walked into the peacock room where we were going to be sleeping, and it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, only thing I do recommend is a tv in the rooms. Other than that, breakfast was amazing, my full total experience was amazing, my pregnant girlfriend wasn't feeling under the weather and she still had an awesome and homey experience.
This was my first B & B experience and it did not disappoint! We wanted a quiet little getaway for the weekend and that is exactly what we found at the Walker Bed and Breakfast. The house is beautiful and has so much character. All the common areas as well as the bedroom we stayed in were very clean. We were able to take a nap in the afternoon with the nice dark curtains in the bedroom, which is a plus. Michael and Cody were both great hosts and very helpful with the questions we had about the town and surrounding area. The complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours was definitely a plus considering it is allergy season. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. They made us both feel very comfortable and we couldn't have asked for anything more. It did rain during the evening at our stay but there is a beautiful porch with chairs and a table. We were able to enjoy a late night drink on the patio while the rain hit the metal roof. This place is perfect if you want to just get away from the hustle of everything. It is very peaceful and we plan on returning soon!
